Scoopski CatAfter roughly a year and a half, I have finally returned to Touhou. I am unfortunately prone to burnouts, and I’m so glad to be back.
As you can probably imagine, I wanted to draw something Touhou, but I wanted it to be something a little more unorthodox. I know that longer-hair Touhous are far from an original idea, I noticed that Miyoi Okunoda didn’t have one on Pixiv (to my knowledge), so I decided to give it a shot. Also, I like Touhou characters drawn with longer hair quite a lot, and I am glad that I finally got to draw one of my own. May not be the only one, we’ll see. While I am almost always biased towards longer hair, I will admit that I think Miyoi is perfectly fine in her base design. Still a fun little project!
I have been making this drawing over the course of a couple days, somewhere between 7 to 9 hours overall. I managed to break my foot during that time, this gave me a much needed distraction. Staying positive! Anyways, thanks for reading this! 🩷
