Petrus92Since I was filled with motivation this week I decided to draw an extra picture for this week. Because it’s been ages since I last drew my favourite Pokegirl May I decided to draw her again. Can’t go wrong with her ^^. Since one of my best pictures during my early drawing career featured May in her green bikini on a beach I decided to revisit that scenario. I’ve improved a lot since then so it was interesting to try out this idea again, witnessing before and after pictures is always a nice experience. Of all of May’s swimsuits I like her green bikini the most, it’s design reminds me of the more old-school swimsuits. Plus it fits her quite well, not too revealing yet still pleasing to eyes. The heart accessory is also super adorable on the bottom part, it adds an extra layer of feminine cuteness to the princess of Hoenn ^^
The drawing process was relatively straightforward on this picture since it is just a single character with a simple background. Pretty similar to the Chloe picture overall in terms of complexity, I guess I am getting a hang of these beach Pokegirl pictures ^^. The only tricky part was May’s pose since I decided to try out a sitting pose for instead of standing one, haven’t done much of those. After some work of figuring out how to make those look dynamic I managed draw May well in that pose. She looks like she got a lot of drip by posing with her fashionable bikini, pretty fitting since May is into fashion and keeps a good care of her looks ^^. Overall I loved drawing this picture, felt amazing to draw one of my favourite characters of all time once again. I definitely should draw her more in the future as well ^^
