Dr. Himiko Shamisen is a recent robotics specialist; her work is a mix of commissions and robots for her own appeal. She is the younger twin sister of a priestess and the future matriarch of the Shamisen clan named Kaguya. As the younger sister, she already had her destiny free from family temple obligations. During her childhood (in the days of Wily), she was saved by a mysterious red robot wearing glasses, sparking her fascination with the world of robot masters.
Himiko is part of the new generation of creators who were direct pupils of Dr. Light. Over time, she discovered the identity of the one who saved her in the past and their individuality. She is also the creator of certain stress coils that allow robots to store a significant "stress" load in their system without collapsing. Her robots are based on myths, legends, and animals. One of her recent creations has a personality compatibility issue with the anti-stress coil, and unfortunately, this can only be overcome through reprogramming. However, due to her admiration for the robot, she has chosen not to reprogram it. Her lab coat has the crest of the Shamisen clan.
