ARSThe Guai (calling themselves the Earthbound) are the descendants of the Burdened Mother and the Anxious Father's children's descendants, the Pasture Guardians (also known as the Giants). Taking lessons learnt from the Guardians (nomadic ways of life and the traditions and stories of the Mother and the Father), the Guai have carried on those teachings and lessons as they roam the world, taking the routes as the roads take them.
The Guai, as the millenia passed, went in many ways, travelling vast distances and lands....and these travels brought changes. As they travelled further and further apart, the Guai developed multiple Clans and each one developed its own distinctive identities and subraces. Even as Clans changed and some mingled and others disappeared from one reason to another, these subraces have stayed. Due to Clan and generational intermingling across many many years, many variations have appeared in the Guai, from varying horns to various mixes of fur colors. Despite this, the Guai still developed some anomalies along the way in terms of subraces that almost seemed like entirely other beings. Most alarming being, they can still reproduce if a Guai was to breed with any of these anomalous Guai subraces.
Nonetheless, even as much as the world changes, besides the events of the Horde of Life or the formation of the Jazajir Clan (and the growing role of Guai slave girls in Eltarye families), the Guai have mostly remained unchanged for as long as they know. They continue the lessons and teachings of the Burdened Mother and the Anxious Father, continuing their ways of life, and travelling the world as their ancestors have done for millenia.
