Introduction: Hello Ladies And Gents Happy New Year Of 2024 Today I would like to introduced a second polish original character aside agniezska rojcewicz who was my first polish oc(in this commission she was a human back then before she died and became demon). this new polish character is named Maryna Dabowski who was from the eastern part of poland which was then a russian partition(or congress poland) in the city of Białystok around the same time as my first polish oc from Poznan in the 1890s.
Backstory: before the first world war even started and tensions rising on the eastern front Maryna Dabowski was conscipted in the tsar's russian imperial army on june 1914 and when the war started on july 28 she went to the front line against the imperial german army where she first fought in the Battle of Stallupönen,Battle of Tannenberg,Battle of the Vistula River then her last combat in the Battle of Łódź in a period of six months. after the battle the imperial russian army was in a retreat but she got herself lost in the polish countryside outskirts of the city as she lost her mosin nagant rifle in the winter mud being unharmed and lost was a worse way to go but then she was found by another soldier in the german uniform who commanded her to surrender in german language but the unarmed lost polish soldier in the russian unifiorm didn't understand but responded in russian then agniezska commanded again to surrender and raised her arms while aiming her Mauser Gewher 1898 Bolt-Action at maryna then maryna panicked and spoke in polish language which to agniezska is suprised to understand her speaking in polish she replies:
Agniezska: You-You're Polish!?
Maryna: Yes I am Polish! Please Don't Shoot Me! I Surrender As You Commanded!
Agniezska: You're In Luck I am Polish Too! If you want to live i'll be taking you as my Prisoner if it was a German You'll be end up dead by now! Now move along!
Much later as two soldiers of the opposing sides marched to the german army front line to report the capture of a prisoner.
Maryna: As i realized you were a pole like me why did you?
Agniezska: Hush It! i know what you are thinking just because i joined the german army doesn't mean i'm a traitor to you to be honest i'm just like you i'm just following orders and serving the countries that conquered us. someday we'll be independent whatever it is
Maryna: i see you're just like me then.
Maryna Spent 4 years in the german prisoner of war camp until the wars end in November 11 1918 she was released in december 1918 and joined the newly established polish army and fought in the short Polish-Ukranian war then Polish Soviet war along with her former captor now as 2nd lieutenant agniezska. until 1921
(this character is fictional and mixed with historical context thanks)
