Abit of information about the stamp:
This is a postage stamp from 1983 that celebrates the 50th anniversary of women's suffrage since 1933!
The Filipino women's right to suffrage was advocated and fought for by
Pura Villanueva Kalaw, feminist and founder of the Asociacion Feminista
llonga. In 1936, she led a drive by the Women's Club to bring women
to the polling site on plebiscite day to affirm their aspirations to vote,
In 1937, Filipino women were able to vote for the first time.
