Erika @ EriThis year has really been a roller coaster for me. The early part of the year was when I was isolated from others - by choice - on social aspect and work aspect, the later middle part of the year had me struggling with research work, and the final part of the year still manage to kick me down to the ground and punch me in the face… but there’s also been a greater sense of self understanding, as I’ve taken some steps to try and improve my well being.
With all of that going on, drawing has to take a backseat, of course. I’m still pleasantly surprised that I still could find the time to at least draw something every now and then - although I could not commit to that many projects for this year.
I’m quite hopeful for next year in terms of both art and life in general. Onward to 2024!
