Petrus92For the last picture that I am going to post during 2023 I decided to return once again to a swimsuit picture. Yeah, not the most fitting way (unless you live in Australia) to celebrate a new year but what can you do ^^. This time I decided to commission a picture of Pneuma from my good old artist friend StarMVenus again, can’t get enough of her style. The story of this picture is that Pneuma is practicing her swimming skills since she wants to be in great physical shape as well as to relax during her vacation. The Ultimate Blade needs practice too like the other Blades ^^. In this picture Pneuma is taking a small break from her swimming session, as such she looks satisfied over her progress. Seems like her swimming speed is increasing at a steady pace, at this rate she might be able to gain Water Mastery. Or better yet, Pneuma will learn to fight while swimming like in Xenoblade 3. That would definitely make her the Ultimate Blade ^^. Pneuma’s swimsuit is based on the common fandom one, it seems to be a combination of Pyra’s and Mythra’s official swimsuits as far as I can tell. Fitting since Pneuma is their combined form after all ^^.
The colouring process was mostly straightforward since this is StarMVenus’ lineart, I am used to them and they’re so smooth to colour due to her clean linework. Pneuma’s swimsuit required some extra work since it is complicated compared to the previous ones I’ve coloured, it got multiple colours and complex patterns like the Aegis symbol. But it felt fresh to colour a one-piece swimsuit after colouring so many bikinis, it fits Pneuma well as it is reminiscent of her normal outfit. Plus it makes her look cuter ^^. The background and Pneuma’s swimming glasses were pretty standard things for me so not much to comment on those fronts. Overall this picture was fun to colour, always glad to see more of Pneuma’s glorious green ponytail and work with StarMVenus. Can’t recommend her enough ^^
