So, it's been a while. Been wanting to finish this screencap and light study for ages, but didn't manage to until last night when i had the urge to sit down and draw for the first time in months. Felt like it's been an eternity, honestly. But hey, at least i don't have to worry about going back to uni anymore. Earlier this year i managed to finish my degree and graduate, meaning that now, all i got left to do is to find a job. And work. And then who knows what else..Job hunting feels a lot like a full time job in itself though, so much so I ended up going on another round of sick leave because it all felt so overwhelmiing, and with the holidays coming closer and closer it was like every last bit of energy and joy was sucked right out of my bones..and what's even worse... I began to do something really stupid... like mixing ADHD meds and double doses of anti-depressants with alcohol. Not a lot of alcohol, like two 4% Bacardi Breezers, but trust me, that was enough to make me realise that something was way off... neurological medication and alcohol do NOT mix well.
Since, I have primarily been spending time trying to get back on my feet, recuperate, and taking care of myself. That I'm back to doing this and drawing again, I take it as an important step forward ^_^
