They are sisters.
Prof. Aspa (from Asparagus also "aspas/Quotation marks" and "esper") is the regional professor and Champion, she has psychic powers and studies the evolution by friendship method. She is caring, sweet and quirky in general.
Alice (based on Alice Margatroid and Alcea) is Aspa's younger sister and Ghost specialist. She dress herself as a doll. She has social phobia so often to communicate to others she uses her dolls to do ventriloquism. Her dolls are often possessed by ghost-type pokemon to make company with her. Her favorite doll is named Belle.
they are distant cousins of Will, Lorelei, Lucian and Allister
