Damien WiartAn illustration based on ICO, Fumito Ueda and team ICO's video game released in 2001 for the Playstation 2 and on its literary adaptation written by Miyuki Miyabe.
My aim was to create a piece that could be separated into two interconnected portraits that would work as the covers for the two novels. I envision the two characters holding hands below the frame, just like they hold hands on the original japanese covers illustrated by Yoko Tanji.
I plan on creating a more complex double illustration based on this story in the future.
