PekyKingDay 26 - Murmur
Murmur is a female demon who is believed to be able to teach philosophy and music and is also known to have the power to summon the souls of the deceased to answer any questions that the conjurer might have. Murmur is depicted as a female soldier who rides a vulture or a Griffin, and wears a ducal crown. It is said that she joined Lucifer's rebellion against Heaven and God, although the reasons for her decision are unknown. Before the battle, Murmur is said to have gone to the Garden of Eden and taken a Griffin as her steed to charge into battle.
~ As you enter the room, you're greeted by massive pillars and various weapons hanging and organized all around. As you maneuver through the pillars, you come across a heavily armored demoness riding a griffin. You approach cautiously and make your presence known. The demoness and Griffin both turn to face you.
The Griffin speaks first, "Hey, hey, you must be that mortal, huh? Glad to see a mortal up close." "You can call me Gryph, and this is my rider, Murmur, a Duchess of Hell, once an angel- Gak!" Gryph said while smacked in the back of the head. Murmur grunts, seemingly a mute. "Alright, alright...sheesh," Gryph said annoyed, "So, mmph, what's the deal being here at a Demon Ball?"
You reply, saying that you have an important meeting with Lady Baal. "Oooh, Lady Baal, hehe, you lucky dog you.." Gryph chuckles. You look at Murmur, who's glaring at you with concern and a bit of malice. She grunts, "Oh um, Murmur here isn't fond of beings staring at her," Gryph said.
You focus on Gryph, and the two of you chat for a bit, with slight grunts from Murmur. Soon, you must leave. "Alright mortal, take care," says Gryph fanning his wings goodbye. You continue your journey.
