author92I have to give direct inspiration for this pic to ArtsyTanooki both for this pic of theirs (https://www.deviantart.com/artsytanooki/art/SegaShinobi-Team-Diamond-896714394) and for directing me to a YouTube channel called Adrenaline Dubs that introduced me to the IDW Sonic comics. I fell in love with the channel and the comics which lead me to doing this pic staring three characters introduced in them: Whisper the Wolf, Jewel the Beetle, and Tangle the Lemur. So thanks to them for helping me get back into my creative swing some.
The scenario is pretty simple with Whisper giving Jewel and Tangle some special self-defense training in case of future robot attacks or feathered thieves. Not the most in depth story but it works.
As for the pic itself I'm very happy with how it came out. This is the first pic in a while that really feels like it has a certain zing to it that a lot of my stuff has been lacking lately. I can't pin it exactly but hopefully it shows through to you guys. My only hang up is that the background it a bit bland but it's still perfectly fine.
