Sparky LDI watched the solar eclipse this morning! Urist seems unsure what to make of the sun acting weird. Neither did the neighbour's chickens or the wild birds.
It was a lot of fun - I stayed out until the ring of fire broke, then headed back in. I of course used eye protection, and it was spectacular to view the moon slowly overtaking the sun. The shadows around me got all weird, too.
That said, my viewing angle was obstructed by a power line for a little, so for a short time this is what I saw through the solar eclipse glasses.
