StonelightWow, it was already 10 years ago. X Y wasn't my first Pokémon gen or anything, but they hold so much importance for me. It was the first Pokémon game that I specifically wanted to get on the very first day of release. The first hours of playing it back then were so great.
Mega's are still the best. Gen 6 also birthed poke tubers back then, had the best way to play online, and was also the first gen that made IV's gathering easier miss the sandbag mini-games so much.) It also brought us a legendary that canonically petrifies, so that was neet.
Serena still has the best design of any protagonist.
