== GOD ENGINE CHAPTER NO. 7 UPDATE ==
"Hey y'all! Still remember me? Yeah, it's almost a month since the last chapter and it's becoming like a George Double R Martin situation. Or, those Berserk chapter-hiatus back then.
So far, it went from an 8-page chapter, to a 20-page chapter. I had to showcase something interesting about a character's ability without putting too much dialogue. But, apart from that---this month has been tough on my end, both physical and mental. I felt really bad about saying I'd do a bi-weekly thing without acknowledging external factors. I think I've said it in the past even during the Fan Manga days too. I'm sorry about that. However, I've gained a new empathetic understanding of how mangaka's and comic artists struggle to push a chapter. And, it also made a new appreciation for reading a manga.
In terms of process... I really tried the George RR Martin's Gardener approach or Alan Watt's not forcing/wu wei/do nothing. Hahaha, I had a week of not doing anything; focusing on life and health; waiting for the right idea to arrive. Nothing really came in, and I had a terrible week of feeling unproductive. I'm going to return to my old process of outlining a chapter and re-reading it every other day to fix issues that don't make sense or boring... and of course eating right.
