HekateThese icons are personal ones that my wife and I use to mark our works, representing what is unwritten that we will eventually bring to life and what is unseen that has already been written but that needs to be speculated on in our works after experiencing them. The symbol itself is a riff on the Eye or Providence that is supposed to evoke a sense of being in the presence of something greater and never truly knowable, not unlike the kind of media my wife and I generally create that often deals in esoteric elements. Additionally, the symbol is a play on the Wiccan symbol for earth, alluding to the often internal and grounded explanations a lot of the subject matter we deal in has. In short, this icon is loaded with symbolism and meaning, which I feel is nicely conveyed in a simplistic package with a nice modernistic flat design!
