The Overwatch team is taking some much needed time off, as Talon and Omnic activity has gone down. Angela, Fareeha, and Cole are acting as lifeguards at one of Vishkar's private beach resorts built by their very own Archtech agent, Satya. (long story short, they're aiding Overwatch's return by providing them funding, at least until they can properly convince the UN to allow them to return to active, legal duty) Everyone is having a pleasant time, even the new recruits.
Among old, familiar faces, some that others thought were dead for years until their recent reveal, there were young new ones: Hana Song from South Korea in her flying pink mech, LĂșcio Correia dos Santos, the vigilante from Brazil who was currently in disguise after his many feuds with Vishkar in his home city of Rio made him number one at the top of their most wanted list, Mei-Ling Zhou the sole survivor from the Overwatch Arctic Outpost power failure, and a duo of Junkers from the Australian Outback, Junkrat and Roadhog (their real names were something they kept secret unless it was with someone they really trusted, at least back in Junkertown), a pair of wanted criminals who went on a robbing spree around the world, now trying to go legit. While they were willing to give the two a chance... most of them were weary of the two because of their thieving habits, and strong prejudice against Omnics... which is difficult when among the new recruits was Zenyatta, Genji's robotic master, and his brother, Hanzo.
Angela kept a close eye on those in the pool, but was enjoying her time more than Fareeha, who was keeping a close eye on the Junkers, while Cole was catching up with Ana. Fareeha also did not like this and was ready to swoop in when she felt the time is right.
They better enjoy the time they have, who knows what the future will hold?
Yep, even Overwatch has the obligatory Beach Episode like most anime. Let the fan service begin!
