NeoBioKaijune 2023 - Day 18: Concentric
I think the pharynx of these guys is technically 'nested' rather than 'concentric' but I spent too much time trying to design it so oops.

Bio:
Thought to be a distant relative to Viserynx, Phrapind is an agile kaiju that has the highest recorded height of any kaiju yet found, able to jump up to 500 meters high and 2 kilometers long. Just like Viscerynx, Phrapind is also a ravenous eater, but instead of eating things roughly its size or smaller, Phrapind seems to consume exclusively off of hive-based Kaiju, often seen feeding off the Tri-Wings and Hilongam hives. Though they have attacked some city centers, Eco-K has marked them an important species to protect, as they target colonial Kaiju, which until now, have been proven to be a nuisance to control.
Eco-K has talked about developing some sort of large mech to discourage the kaiju from attacking, as walls would simply be bypassed. The KDF has said that they'll aid in the program, as they believe their Stormbringer mechs are uniquely adapted to this scenario.
