長く時間をかけて張られた根は土地をめぐり、その樹冠は天を目指す
「まるで神話の世界じゃないか」
生命力に溢れた大樹と戦火の傷跡を残す街並みは、人々の繁栄と終末を表すシンボルのようだった
私はしばらくの間、その大樹を仰ぎ見るように立ち尽くしていた
