Ladies and gentlemen… I introduce you… “Ballroom e Youkoso”… ups!
This artwork is the parody of that manga, “Ballroom e Paradaisu” (Welcome to The Ballroom Paradise), which is named after both “Ballroom e Youkoso” and of course “Parallel Paradise”. Had “Ballroom e Paradaisu” come to effect, it’ll be nice to see women, particularly Lumi and Misaki, dancing with their male dancing partner. The background is inspired from UK Open Dance Championship, usually take place in this month (January).
Here, Misaki dances with a male dancing partner. Seeing this reminds me of once great couple, Luca Baricchi and Loraine Barry (1999 and 2001 World Professional Standard Ballroom champion). Oh, anyway, she’s so fond in Standard Ballroom (Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Slow Foxtrot, and Quickstep).
The others are really shocked seeing this scenery: Lumi sees her outfit being worn by Misaki, Lilia is shocked upon seeing Misaki’s dancing partner, Tia and Haru are both so jealous of Misaki and her dancing partner. Youta has no idea of this kind of musical talent (he’s more of kendo athlete and gamer).
Where’s Momo?
Well, she’s so mysterious… We have no idea where she is now…
