venomantisI still have 5 days before the next hand injection and I'm gonna make the most of them, so here's a creature concept from a book I'm writing!
The Velvet Mantis, like many creatures on the planet I'm working on, relies on filtration of spores to survive. There are no predators, so her spiky talons are used to reach the higer spore fruits before they mature fully and disperse the spores in the air, so she can get them all for herself.
I put "camelia" as I plan to do more variations, and this one really reminded me of the flower
