LancI tried to put on emphasis CV-16's nickname "Blue Ghost" with the blue cape. The pale complexure is a continiuty of the ghost theme, CV-2 being a ghost haunting the IJN. CV-16's dress is a mix of the Essex-class dress and her namesake with the white front.
Lexington-16 is someone with identity issues. Laid down originally as Cabot, she was given the name of a fallen soldier and shares a face which bears a very close resemblance to said soldier. She is a taciturn girl who tends to keep to herself. She also can't explain why she went completely ape on Zuikaku. "I never met that girl. Cape Egano was the first time I saw her. Yet, the moment she was in my sights, the I could only feel a burning hatred and the need to make her suffer. I don't understand." She also avoids any contact with Saratoga. If she can't, she will put her hood on to conceal her features.
Like Archerfish and Intrepid who took a trophy from their battles against Musashi and Shinano, Lexington-16 carries Zuikaku's katana and her hair ornament.
