Floating heatless fireballs with the faint image of a human-like face on them, Tsurubebi are yokai that just float around drifting with no purpose whatsoever.
Tsurubebi is a yokai that appears as blueish-white fireballs with no heat, practically harmless, they just float around in forests and coasts. They have little to no interest in humans as they would look at a traveler for a moment and then go on without a care.
