- My thought:
“After many previous seasons, in which the Rangers encounter aliens, ancient monsters and androids, it’s inevitable when the mystical-theme comes next. The fresh tune in the opening song caught me off-guard, it certainly has an interesting young vibe. I find the story quite clever that it helps motivate the Rangers to achieve their goals; However, I feel like it’s a bit too short. As many people might notice, the unbalance in character-development is one of the factors that ruin the season. It’s not the first time when they focus mainly on the Red-ranger and his journey, while other Rangers have less opportunity to shine. Other Ranger-team from previous seasons have the same treatment, but they managed to create a strong and compelling interaction that benefits all characters. While here in Mystic Force, the lack of chemistry and weak side stories of characters makes the Rangers less enjoyable. The same thing happens to the villain side, we have one bad ass Koragg with a strong background, while other bad guys are so forgettable. The one thing I love about this season is the Zords with their elegant design, the Mystic Titans Dragon is my absolute favorite. Overall, it’s good to have a little bit change among Power Rangers season, but I wish it could be better”.
