- My thought:
“This is Men-in-Black with more flashy suits and giant robots ! As if the epic “space-cops” theme weren’t enough to get me hooked, this season is blessed by having one of the best character-growth factors ever. SPD is packed with so many deep and compelling side stories, that it helps me understand the important value of every character on the team, with or without the Ranger-suits. I love how the season started off with the classic “Underdogs-wish-to-be-the-best” motive, it’s the perfect way for us to witness how the Rangers grow and succeed in the line of duty. One word to describe the Ranger-suits is brilliant; The matching color, the tactical pattern and the interesting way to illustrate the number on the suit are so well-done. This season also gives me a lot of thought about the role of “villain” and how it is used across episodes. With the good set-up of a potential universe in SPD, it provides many sides within all characters, not just heroes but villains as well. It helps us see and understand everyone around us better. What an epic season !”
