alexanderip1003After exactly 40 Years of service, the MLR is finally retiring from service. To celebrate it's retirement charter I watched 2 films by Youtuber Rail Reverie 鉄道空想 whereupon I uploaded the Hong Kong East Rail Line Metro Cammell Midlife Refurbishment Electric Multiple Unit Hikarians, How it came far from evolving from the Yellow Headed train to what is now the Fly Headed Train It has garnered a collective memory of the East New Territories and the Kowloon Peninsula until it's recent extension to Hong Kong Island this year 2022 we HongKongers Will remember it as we ride the new R Train in the years to come.
