> This story is connected to my “Adventures of Volo and Arceus” comics/doodles but takes place a few hundred years in the future.
> Up until meeting Dawn, Volo had not returned to Sinnoh in the few hundred years since his initial encounters with Arceus and departing Hisui.
> Dawn has become a Researcher under Professor Rowan but also works as a part-time volunteer assistant for Cynthia in Pokemon archeology. Both are currently working on discoveries from the ancient Celestican and Hisuian eras.
> In this canon, Jirachi was taken in just as it had woken up from its thousand-year slumber but for some strange reason, has never gone back to hibernation since, and neither has it been able to grant any wish.
> Dawn is around 25 at this point. She is based off my BDSP player character who receives a Jirachi early in the game (which I used in my main team all the way past the Pokemon League).
