TzoliA friend of mine asked for this drawing, a hypothetical modernization of the 18"/40 armed Scheme 6 Hood Preliminary design on the lines of the proposed 1938/39 modernization of HMS Hood I've done before.
Apart from modifying the modernized superstructure elements to fit on this somewhat smaller hull I've added more 12,7mm AA MG, slightly different 40mm Pom-Pom arrangement due to less space available and no deck planking which was the result of Admiral Fisher back then disliked this aspect of warships likely because the damage it could cause to the sailors when any kind of shell hits it.
